DIY Baby Leg Warmers

These are just the sweetest!

I love baby leg warmers. Winter is coming up and I wanted some other options for Ember rather than just pants and tights.

To buy them at the store they are a pretty penny to say the least. But if you have some old knee highs laying around then they are FREE!!

After I made one....well you can see I had to make more.
I used almost all my knee highs.
But she looks so cute in them it was worth it!

HERE IS WHAT I DID
Lay out your sock.
Cut off the heal and the toe (throw them away)
Turn the cuff and the sock inside out.
Fold the cuff so right sides are now facing out.
Sew the cuffs raw edges with a zig-zag stitch.
Put the cuff into the sock.
(remember the sock should be inside out)
Sew together with a zig-zag stitch.
(While sewing stretch the cuff to the sock-dont pull sock)
Turn right side out and
WHA LA
cute little baby leg warmers

I saw this tutorial first from Heather at decorganize crafts.
She pretty much rocks.
Go check her blog out!!

Put them under a dress or wear with a onesie.
Either way they are DARLING for
your little one.
